It was recently announced that Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard is set to tie the knot with his female colleague, Peggy Ovire.

The couple met in 2005 while filming a movie and have been together ever since.

It wasn’t until 2021that they took it one step further and decided to share the love they have for each other by making it official.

He went all out, surprising Peggy Ovire with a romantic dinner date on the beachfront just outside Lagos on Valentine’s Day.

It was here he asked her boyfriend of 16 years to be his bride, peals of laughter reportedly filled the air when she said yes!

News of their pending nuptials was quickly shared amongst their fellow colleagues within Nollywood, who reacted positively and in jest at the same time.
